Vision Sunday at ONE Church is never about business meetings, motions, or voting. It is a time to open the books, celebrate the journey, and witness the incredible testimony of God’s faithfulness.
This past Sunday, we looked back at a defining year—2025. It was a year that brought a literal storm, displaced our congregation, and tested our resolve. But as we reviewed the “2025 Wrapped” numbers, one thing became clear: When we trade our comfort for faith, God provides in miraculous ways.
2025: A Year of Miracles
Despite the challenges of displacement and rebuilding, the church didn’t just survive; it thrived. The numbers tell a story of lives changed:
- 19 Baptisms: We celebrated 19 souls publicly professing Jesus as Lord—and every single one of these happened after we moved back into our rebuilt campus.
- Online Explosion: God took our digital ministry from 150 daily views to over 17,000 views, resulting in 30% growth and 120 new digital disciples engaging with the Gospel.
- Generosity: Through your faithfulness, total contributions reached $108,315.73. For a small church with “no deep pockets,” this is a testament to God’s provision.
Community Impact We also saw the church become the hands and feet of Jesus in our community:
Men’s Ministry: 47 men attended the “Be a Godly Man” conference, raising $850 for devotionals for men in correctional facilities.
Backpack Program: We filled the gap at Ravenel Elementary, supporting over 70 children and continuing to help 20+ kids weekly with food and essentials.
Family Nights: We hosted meals and educational nights for families with special needs children, ensuring they had Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, along with gift cards.

The Rebuild: “We Just Have to Work by Faith”
The defining story of 2025 was our “Return Home.” After Hurricane Helene destroyed our building from the top down, and after months of displacement at The Well, we hit a wall. There was mold, rising costs, and a feeling of stagnation.

But the turning point came when Nick Thornton stopped a service and declared, “We just have to work by FAITH.”.
That spark ignited a fire. We fired the original contractors, hired a new company and the men and women of this church stepped up. We hung sheetrock, painted, ground floors, and worked harder than ever before.

The result was a financial miracle that only God could orchestrate:
- Insurance Provided: $197,600
- Cost to Rebuild & Operating Costs: $197,600 (combined)
God met the need almost to the exact dollar. We returned home not just with a renovated building, but with a renewed spirit.
Vision 2026: Looking Forward
As we head into 2026, our mission remains the same: No ONE Walks Alone and Ensure Everyone Knows The ONE. We are planting our feet firmly to grow deeply.
Upcoming Rhythms & Projects:
- Ministry Launches: We are excited for the 1828 NextGen Adult Ministry, the Gen ONE Relaunch for students, and new podcasts.
- Campus Renovation: We are moving forward with “Store, Serve & Study”—renovating our interior to create a kitchen, a Bible study nook for small groups, and better storage.
- Exterior Restyle: Giving our campus a fresh look to be a welcoming hub for our community.

Trading for Something Greater
We closed the service with a message from Luke 21 regarding the widow’s mite. She didn’t give out of her abundance; she gave everything she had to live on.
How did a small church survive a hurricane, rebuild a campus, and reach thousands online? We traded what we had for something greater. We didn’t give out of overflow; we gave out of surrender.
In 2026, God is not looking for the size of our offering, but the depth of our surrender. Whether it is your time, your resources, or your talents, we invite you to join us. Let’s continue to build a place where everyone knows the One, and no one walks alone.
